Pink Elln - The Beginning

This is the first release of my archive material.
All tracks recorded by Pink Elln (Tobias Freund) from 1984 to 1988.

I made my first foray into music in 1980, using analogue equipment like the Korg MS-20 synth and the seminal Roland TR 808 drum machine. Experimenting in groups like Vo Ese and Hypnobeat, I contributed to Germany's vibrant underground cassette scene. In 1984, I started to produce music and Super 8 movies as a solo artist under the Pink Elln alias, followed by a first release on the Touch label.
Now I decided to open the archives of my musical studies.
The release at hand indicates the beginning of a retrospective, with more to come. All tracks have been recorded on cassette and remastered from original tapes at Non Standard Studios, Berlin.

"Human Perc" has been previously released on "Bedroom Tapes" (Minimal Wave).
